It all begin with an inspirational book, then a personal experienced. A brief profile in I.D Magazine in 2007 on that shiny tessellated braille-phone prototype for the visually impaired. Set the idea in motion. Then came the prestigious A’ design award as the world’s leading designer in Care Design Classification DAC. Our founder is passionate about meaningful design that has purpose, is inclusive, interactive and also fun.
Technology tools today are predominantly aimed at wider society. Innovative tools and products are less accessible to certain groups and communities .
We know that artificial Intelligence technologies are becoming more visible and available. This has the potential to create improvement or further division in society between those who have access and those who don’t.
We want to give better access and experience across Education/Entertainment/Customer/Health & Product to those communities that are largely ignored today. What will happen to these marginalised communities if they are unable to access technologies that are quickly becoming essential for everyday?
We have spent time engaging with and listening to individuals and groups affected by this ‘divisive shift’. This has given us a sense of what needs to be done, tackling one problem at a time, to cultivate design thinking through inclusive participation. The aim of which is a vastly shared & improved experiences that is also sustainable while extend product lifecycles along the way.
We believe in inclusivity of access and experience of technology. We believe this will elevate our sense of togetherness, hope, and aspiration as a society.
